For the past year, we’ve been committed to helping Black and underestimated founders secure the funding they need to scale—and we've been pretty good at it. 🚀
Founders have secured funding from top organizations like L'Oréal, Andreessen Horowitz (TxO), Slauson & Co., Hennessy & Moët, Black Ambition, BeyGOOD (Beyoncé’s foundation), Sephora, and more after discovering these opportunities through our platform.
As you can see, we've been doing the damn thing, but we knew we could do even more.
Introducing Capital Klub
When we first launched our funding discovery tool, we aimed to prove that a comprehensive resource was not only needed but wanted by our community. Initially, we called it the Startup Funding Database and kept things simple because it was still an MVP (and as you know, an MVP should be simple, functional, and cost-effective).
But as we witnessed the incredible response and demand from our community, it became clear that this tool deserved a name that truly reflects our mission and impact.
Capital Klub is more than just a new name—it’s a reflection of our commitment to empowering Black and other underestimated founders who are on a mission to build successful and sustainable businesses but may not be part of "certain" networks where top resources are often shared.
Our goal is to change that, making funding more accessible, especially for US—the founders who have historically been overlooked but cannot be ignored.

The name Capital Klub embodies our mission to connect founders to the resources, capital, and community they need to thrive.
The word “Capital” represents more than just financial resources—it symbolizes access to a wealth of opportunities, knowledge, and networks that drive business growth.
Meanwhile, “Klub” signifies the sense of belonging we’re building—a space where we come together, support one another, and unlock our full potential. Because in the Klurb, we all fam - right? 😉🥰
Why the Acorn Symbol?
Our new logo features an acorn, a powerful symbol of growth and potential.
Just like an acorn starts small but has the capacity to grow into a mighty oak tree, we believe Black founders—no matter where they start or where they come from—have the power to achieve greatness. For us, the acorn represents growth, resilience, and the belief that with the right resources and support, even the smallest ideas can flourish into something extraordinary.
